In addition, a dialogue has been opened with NATS
regarding a route northwards from Tinto.
This is contentious airspace and further discussion has been postponed
until April 2006. It is known
however that the sailplane community have negotiated a route through between
Edinburgh and Glasgow at 3000ft or 3500ft. We
hope to agree the same or a similar corridor.
N.B. THERE IS CURRENTLY NO
LETTER OF AGREEMENT ALLOWING XC FLYING ABOVE 2500FT IN THE CTA TO THE NORTH OF
TINTO. But watch this space!
