Letter of Agreement
A new agreement is in place as of 24 November 2005. It is currently relevant to some or all aspects of paragliding from the following sites:
- Broughton Heights
- Moorfoots (both ends of the ridge)
- Hillend
- All Pentland hills within the Edinburgh Turnhouse CTR (the Class D circle around the airport, including;
- Carnethie
- Scald Law
- Hamburger Hill
- Scroggie
The special rules relating to
each site are discussed on a dedicated page for each site (see links at left).
But in all cases the general rules and procedures must be adhered to.
(No we don’t like rules, but yes it’s necessary to be strict about
this to protect these agreed privileges).
